3月25日（水）、緑理事長と渡辺副理事長、小井事務局長がJFKO会長の中谷元防衛大臣を訪問し、フルコンタクト空手のオリンピック種目化に向けた活動の進捗と今後の方向性を確認しました。また、フルコンタクト空手界の最大のトーナメントとなる第2回大会のトーナメント編成が完了した旨の報告もされました。
すでに同大会のトーナメントは公式サイトで公開され、全国260を超える流派団体から男女375名の強豪が名を連ねています。今大会の開催を通じて、フルコンタクト空手の競技統括が一層推進されており、継続的に未加盟のフルコンタクト団体に対して参加を呼びかけています。

JFKOでは、従来通りに2020年東京オリンピックでの空手競技の採用と、WKFルールにフルコンタクトルールを加えた2ルールの実現を目指しています。JFKOでは、フルコンタクト空手という競技分野の価値を損なうことなく、国際スポーツ界での存在感を高めたいと考えております。
このため、103万人の支持を受けた「2ルールでの空手競技化」という主張を然るべき空手関係各所にお届けし、同様に2020年東京五輪に関わる関係各所にこの主張活動及び空手界の現況の報告し、適切な説明を加えて理解や支援を求めております。

こうした活動の結果、加盟団体が大同団結し、フルコンタクト空手の五輪種目化が実現する可能性を徹底的に追求する方針です。
フルコンタクト空手を修行する少年少女たちが競技形態を変えずに、オリンピックの舞台で活躍できる可能性の追求を一層推進して参ります。

In March 25th, Chairman Midori, Vice Chairman Watanabe and General Secretary Koi visited Mr. Gen Nakatani, The Minister of Defense who is also JFKO President. We reported Mr. Nakatani about our activities and plans of Fullcontact Karate for realzing Olympic event. We also reported him about
The 2nd All Japan Fullcontact Karate Championship.

The championship draw is released on JFKO website, and altogetr 375 competitors (men and women) from 260 organizations and groups in Japan will participate at the championship. We also work with organizations and groups which have not joined in JFKO yet.

JFKO have worked that Karate will be included two rules;WKF and Fullcontact rules in Tokyo Olympic 2020. We concern to keep the value of competition category of Fullcontact Karate and our presence in international sports society.

1 million 30 thousands people signed for our petition, ‘Karate with 2 rules for Olympic’. We will continue our ativities and current situation with the result of our petition.

We would like to continue our activities to achieve our goal for our children competitors.
